Faculty and Staff
A large part of our success at Bethany is fueled by our arsenal of talented and dedicated staff. Bethany currently has over 500 teaching and non teaching staff.
Our non teaching staff or support staff is a vital arm of the school without which not a lot would get done. They see to hygiene, food, transportation, safety and a whole host of other supporting functions of the school. Bethany recognizes the efforts of each one of them with plenty of opportunities to grow in this organization. We’ve seen many of our non-teaching staff over the years now take up both teaching and leadership roles.
Our non-teaching staff on the other hand are carefully handpicked so that their vision aligns with that of our Founders.
Our teachers are some of the best from the industry who command respect for excellence in education. All our teachers are trained with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience. Teachers from the primary department upwards all come with a mandatory B.Ed degree. ISC teachers however need to have post graduate degrees to be able to fit in to the role. There are over 350 teaching staff currently that help make Bethany both curricularly and co-curricularly balanced. Bethany also calls upon the expertise of special educators who understand learning difficulties and provides full support to the development of a child.
The staff at Bethany are inducted into a family that supports one another to bring out the best in one another. Bethany has put the value of the staff amongst the top of their priority which is why we see an iteration rate of less than 2-3%. In fact, there are more than 50 teachers who have served for over 20 years.
Our development program also involves regular staff meetings and training sessions. This is done department wise to ensure customization of training. A largely awaited gathering is the informal meet where all the staff let loose to enjoy a fantastic entertaining session hosted by each department taking turns.
