Moving beyond rote memorisation, our curriculum at Bethany School, is renowned for its strong academic foundations and holistic development. The world is changing rapidly, and we believe the curriculum must keep pace by integrating vital 21st-century skills. A comprehensive curriculum designed by educational consultants and teachers provides fun yet foundational learning methods for the child’s all-round development. Free thinking, emotional intelligence, fine motor skills, sensory development and creativity are encouraged and developed through the syllabi. For this purpose, we encourage project-based learning where students tackle real-world problems. Group projects also encourage collaboration, while research and presentations hone communication skills.

The Reading Programme is offered to students from Standard I-V to inculcate a love of reading in every child, an essential in today’s gadget-driven generation. At Bethany, we believe that every child’s natural ability should be honed and nurtured. Ample opportunities are provided to students through the various events we plan throughout the academic year.

The National Education Policy 2020 highlights a student-centric approach, prioritizing core competencies. Aligned with this directive, Bethany High Sarjapur, as one of the best ICSE schools in Bangalore, encourages students from Standard II to X to engage in inter-house sports and literary competitions, showcasing their natural talents. Middle school students have the opportunity to explore their interests further through club activities such as music, dance, and fine arts. Additionally, our students frequently participate in inter-school competitions, consistently earning accolades and enhancing our school’s distinguished reputation.

All students are taken on a field trip to a place of educational interest and for the Annual Picnic, which is a time of fun and laughter. The Middle and High school students are also taken on outstation trips that range from 2 days to a week.

Bethany High School Sarjapur Road - we visit every year for the carnival. Like all events, the school gets involved to ensure its success. It fosters a sense of bonding among students, teachers, non-teaching staff, and parents. They organise, they participate, and they enjoy a sense of togetherness. It also provides a roadmap for modern schooling and parenting, which is highly relevant for school-going children to navigate current and future socio-economic situations
