Message from Vice President, Bethany Education Board

Congratulations, Mum! (Late Mrs. Mignon David Founder, Bethany High School) Your explicit faith and trust in the Almighty and your vision to leave behind a lasting monument (Bethany High) is now more than 50 years old.

The memory of your departed sons Leonard (9 years) and Darrell (8 years) who went to be with the Lord on the 13th of August in a tragic drowning accident while trying to save their pet dog-Scottie has truly turned from tragedy to triumph. Today, the school stands tall with more than 3500 children benefiting in more ways than one. The loss of your two sons has touched so many lives over the years and I am proud to be a small part of this legacy and even though I lost two of my brothers, I have gained so many relationships over the years through Bethany. Always marvel at the words you wrote on my brothers epitaph and I quote ‘The Master came one day And walked among the flowers, He touched them one by one And picked two buds of ours’

I hope this message encourages all those who read it to learn that even through one’s deepest darkest hours, if we only have faith in our Living God, He will see us through thick and thin.

Psalms 31:24 says, ‘Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait on the Lord’ God Bless you all.

Long Live Bethany!
